This year’s Women’s day was not like any other for Dr. Soney Lal Patel Senior secondary school and the reason for the same was one of our Respected senior Teacher Mrs. Manju Pal, who was felicitated by Kalyani Seva Samiti on 08-03-2021(Monday)
She has been an important part of this institution for 26 years and still giving her best.

CEREMONY

The Investiture Ceremony of the session 2019-20 was held on20th July, amidst the gracious presence of Chairperson Ma’am Mrs. Krishna Patel, Administrative Head Late Mr. Ashok Patel Sir, the Principal Ma’am Dr. Nighat Khan and the proud teachers.
It commenced with lighting the lamp which signifies the removal of darkness and its flame denotes the path of wisdom and divinity. After a short march past presentation, the student council was called to adorn
their uniforms with scintillating badges and sashes, not only to mark their accomplishments but also as a constant reminder of the duties endowed upon them. Principal Ma’am accompanied the acclaimed members of management to confer the respective portfolios categorized as House Captains. House Vice-Captains and Prefects for each house. Sports Captain and Sports Vice-Captain were appointed to look after the sports activities of the school and Head Girl and Head Boy to co-ordinate and lead the entire student council.
The Head Boy Ankit Awasthi of Class XII-A addressed the students fraternity in stilling in them the vigour and zest to give their best for the upliftment of their soul and self. Sunidhi Tiwari of Class XII-C, the Head Girl updated all with her strategy of teamwork so as to ensure a smooth journey under her leadership and bring a name to her alma mater. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem.

CHAMPIONSHIP

The annual school stage activity also known as PRAHAR 2019, was our zealous presentation by culture and enthusiast of Dr. Soney lal Patel Senior Secondary School the mega event was held on 24th November and concluded on a high rate with Spectacular performance with almost 100% participation of the students of the school. The annual sport championships focused on ideas of team work. coordination and discipline on the stage as well as backstage. The preparation for the event begin a month in advance during which the whole campus of Dr. Soney lal Patel Senior secondary school buzzed with the excitement and forever to bring out the best programme. Each and every student and teacher was deeply engrossed various preparation of the event. Finally, when the day dawned a thrill of enthusiasm prevailed in the air as a the even commenced with welcome of the chief guest.
Mrs. Krishna Patel and Directress Ma’am Ms.Aman Patel, A small tribute to the parents by students of Dr. Soney Lal Patel Senior Secondary School touched the hearts of our loving parents. Before anything else, a tribute to God was necessary to make our endeavor a success we had a tribute to Lord Ganesha we began the prahar with the felicitation of the academic achievers of the school. The prahar was more memorable and amazing, various dance performances depicted the unity of the world the celebration then ended with national anthem and vote of thanks by our respected Principal Ma’am Dr. Nighat Khan. She expressed her gratitude to all the dignitaries’ & parents for their valuable time.
The students and parents went home in a high spirits with unforgettable memories of the day.
DUSSEHRA
CELEBRATION

As the candle light flames everyone’s life. May always be happy. As the mountain high our school students also move without shy. As sunshine create morning glory fragrance fills years as fiory. All darkness is far away as light is on its way. Dussehra signifies the victory of good over evil, virtue of the goodness in and around us. Dussehra is also known as Vijay Dashami. It is celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal in the whole country every year.
Dandiya, a traditional dance was presented by the kindergarten students gracefully. Colorful attires worn by the students and adorned sticks carried by them were eye catching. Everyone was spell bound by the presentation.
DIWALI
CELEBRATION
25TH OCTOBER 2019
On the occasion of Diwali. a special assembly was conducted by the students of class 2nd. The school premises were beautifully decorated and colorful rangoli was made to enhance the beauty of the school. The day began with the Morning Prayer. The school choir sang a melodious song which was followed by a short speech presented by our principal ma’am. message “Go GreenDiwali” spread by the students. The children enjoyed the competition organized on the occasion of the Diwali in the school. Principal wished everyone and made the children aware of the harmful effect of bursting the crackers. She also advised to them to celebrate the festival by helping the needy and poor. Overall it was a wonderful celebration displaying the message of the removal of darkness by spreading the light.
LABOUR'S
DAY
1ST MAY 2019
Labours Day is a day to celebrate the achievements of workers. It does not matter they are on which post or who they are Union movement, ‘especially the eight hours day movement, which advocates eight-hours for work, eight-hours for recreation and eight-hours for rest May 1st,is mark as International Day, also referred as May Day. It is celebrated as Antarrashtriya Shramik Diwasin India.
On this day in the school, teachers gave the knowledge about the importance of this day during assembly.

TERRORISM DAY

As we know that – “Terrorism has no religion. No religion promotes terrorism and every religion promotes peace.”
The date is chosen to commemorate the death anniversary of one of the most eminent Prime Minister of India Late Sri Rajiv Gandhi (20 August 1944-21st May 1991). This day is also observed to make people aware of ongoing terrorist activities and the precautions that can be taken by ordinary people to prevent those acts of terrorism.
The awareness on this day to the students was given by the teachers in assembly.
WORLD NO
TOBACCO DAY
31ST MAY 2019
Every year on 31st May, the WHO and global partners celebrate World No Tobacco Day. The annual campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use. The “World No -Tobacco Day” was conducted in our school campus on 14th August,2019 during assembly.The teachers impart the awareness to the students about the ill effects of intaking tobacco and how it is ruining our human resources day by day.

DAY
22ND APRIL 2019
Earth Day was celebrated on April 22nd,2019 at Dr. SoneyLal Patel Sr. Sec. School, Junior wing. It was a great day to showcase environmental education, and engage the whole students community in making a difference by taking steps towards making the sorroundings clean and green. A Poster making activity was organized by classes I, II & III whereas classes IV to VIII were engaged in bulletin making competition, the theme was ‘Go Green’.
A special assembly was conducted by class VII
students where they explained how the earth can be saved from global warming Our respected Principal ma’am gave an inspirational speech on the occasion of Earth Day and each one of us, in the school can make an effort to make the Earth a better place to live in.

FOUNDATION

It was an activity organized by the Search Foundation in the school for the welfare of some needy children who are suffering with some serious diseases related to mental illness.
Mr. N. K. Singh told about those children and their diseases in the assembly. He also told that he and his members of foundation was working for these children. They need a large amount of money for the treatment of these children.
The students of our school happily contributed the amount for the purpose. That amount was given to the foundation. The feeling of caring and sharing are instil by this type of activities in the school. This feeling is also very important for becoming a good human.” When you help someone, it gives a smile on your face and on that person’s face also which is precious.”
YUVRAJ BHADOURIA of class XII C contributed the maximum amount for this purpose.

ABHIYAN

Our school teachers conducted SwachhBharatAbhiyan Activity in our school campus. There was a special assembly also conducted by grade 12th students, to spread the awareness of this mission to each and every member of school family. Swachh is not an activity actually it is a movement which was launched by our prime minister from 15th September.2019 to 2nd October.2019. SwachhBahratAbhiyan was launched by honorable Prime Minister Mr. NarendraModi on Oct 2nd. 2019 the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi by constructing 90 million toilets in rural India.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or clean India movement is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India’s cities, smaller towns and rural areas. The objective of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan include eliminating open defecation through the construction of household owned and community owned toilets and establishing an accountable mechanism of monitoring toilet use. The message of cleanliness spread by our students in the society for that our teachers inspire our schools students.

Teachers Day, a day for which every teacher eagerly awaits for September 5th, 2019. A great zeal and enthusiasm could be felt at Dr. Soney Lal Patel Senior Secondary School. The excitement of the students knew no bounds. Students displayed their acknowledgement and appreciation of the hard work put in by the teachers.
All the students celebrated this day with great zest and enthusiasm but class 12th students organized a special programme to display their love and gratitude for their mentors. The celebration began with a song dedicated to the teachers by the school students. It was followed by some amusing one minute games organized for the staff members. All the games were enjoyed and appreciated by all.Some students enthralled the audience by their wonderful dance and singing presentation. Students also given some title to the teachers and also planned out cake cutting programme for the teachers. The celebration concluded by the address of the principal ma’am Dr Nighat Khan.
She praised the staff for its perpetual dedication and hard work and expressed her pride on having a committed staff.
A lunch programme was planned by school management for the teachers and it was a memorable day for all of them.
INDEPENDENCE DAY

14TH AUGUST 2019
Thursday, The 14th- Aug was indeed a day to remember, when religious festivities blended with the patriotic fervour. Every corner of the school seemed to be reflecting the beautiful colors of our national flag. Songs like “mere deshkidharti”, “‘Vande Mat ram’ and ” Mera rang de basanti chola” were enough to make one and all stand up to say- “I love My India.” The school buzzed with excitement as the children geared for the Inter House Singing Competition. Patriotism was in the air. The theme being Independence Day, the songs evoked the patriotic zeal in each one of us. The special effect of balloons, flags and banners pepped up the environment and added to the glory the programme was witnessed by our principal ma’am Dr. Nighat Khan.

Students went to Axis College for their annual event “Synergy-2019” students of our school took active participation in all the activities which was organized by the students of Axis college,Rooma, Kanpur.

EXTRA MARKS

Extra marks conducted an Olympiad test from class IV to X to and check their excellence in mathematics and Science, Qualified students will be selected for other rounds.
Olympiad was conducted by Mr. Vimal Tiwari and our school teachers supported in conducting it successfully.
Exam started at 11:00 0′ clock duration of exam was 30 minutes.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
QUIZ
10TH AUGUST 2019
This important quiz had been conducted by Puranchandra VidyaNiketan. From our school four students of class 9- Manu Tiwari, Udhbhay singh ,Bhoomi Saini and Ansh Raj have participated.
KSS General Knowledge Quiz was held on 10th August 2019 in Puranchandra Vidyaniketan, where in four students participated in that competition from our school. The quiz begin with the introduction of participants of all the schools. The rules of the quiz were told to the participants.
Not only they participated but also won prizes in singing. Ankit Awasthi (Head boy)- won prize in singing, student of class XII-A.
Tushar Tripathi – won prize in singing, student of class XII-C.
So. our students proved their calibre in Axis College.
Mrs. Arifa Nabi and Mr. Anand Gupta went with them and guided our students as well and got consolation prize also.

Epoch Olympiad Foundation is a registered organization by Government of India established in 2009 by leading academician, technologist and social activist with the objective to make talent poll for the future so that young generation can make our country a Golden Bird again.
Competition can help students to achieve personally as well as academically. They learn about the concepts such as winning and losing, being fair and the value of putting in your best effort. Our school organized different types of competitions and EPOCH OLYMPIAD is one of them. Our students enthusiastically participated in the Olympiad and showed their talent and achieved success.

A fancy dress competition for preschool was organized in the school auditorium the young ones were taken up by a pleasant surprise on 20th August 2019, when they came to know about the fancy dress competition children participated in it with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The teacher left no stone unturned to make this event a success. Finding ways to keep the kids engaged & making every child feel special is the key to pulling off a successful event.Our kids looked lovely in these colourful attires. They were dressed up as brides, freedom fighters. astronauts, doctors, pilots, air hostess etc. the show was highly applaud and appreciated by the parents.

An ice cream party for kindergarten section was organized in our school campus. It was a great day for the kids. Some children participated in funny game and enjoyed this party a lot. Teachers distributed ice cream to the kids from school side. All the kids selected their ice cream with their own choices. And also they loved that moment a lot. There were also some games and dance programme for the kids. Children take part in this party with the zeal and enthusiasm. They also thanked the teacher to organizing such a party for the kids.
